Transmission portable app made with Portapps.
Fast, easy, and free BitTorrent client.

Installation

Download and install the latest portable setup where you want then run transmission-portable.exe.

If you have already installed Transmission from the original setup, move the following files :

• %APPDATA%\transmission\* to data

Then run transmission-portable.exe and remove Transmission from your computer.

Upgrade

For an upgrade, simply download and install the latest portable setup.

Here is what differs from the original release to ensure portability:

• Transmission home path is forced to data folder path.

Configuration

Transmission portable can be configured through the main YAML configuration file :

  cleanup: true

• cleanup : Cleanup leftover folders (default false)
