HLSW portable app made with Portapps.
A game server browser and administration tool.

Installation

Download and install the latest portable setup where you want then run hlsw-portable.exe.

If you have already installed HLSW from the original setup, move the following files :

• %APPDATA%\HLSW\* to data

Then run hlsw-portable.exe and remove HLSW from your computer.

Upgrade

For an upgrade, simply download and install the latest portable setup.

Dependencies

Before using HLSW portable you have to install the following dependencies on your computer:

• Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Setup available here.

Modifications

Here is what differs from the original release to ensure portability:

• Following switches are passed to the process.
  • -PATH:<app_path>: Path to application folder
  • -DATADIR:<data_path>: Path to data folder
• Registry key HKCU\Software\HLSW is imported and exported (reg folder) at runtime

Configuration

HLSW portable can be configured through the main YAML configuration file :

app:
  cleanup: true

• cleanup: Cleanup leftover folders and registry key (default false)
