Installation

Download and install the latest portable setup where you want then run android-studio-portable.exe.

If you have already installed Android Studio™ from the original setup, move the following files :

%USERPROFILE%\.android to data
%USERPROFILE%\.gradle to data
%USERPROFILE%\.AndroidStudio*\config\plugins to data
%USERPROFILE%\.AndroidStudio*\system\log to data
%USERPROFILE%\.AndroidStudio*\config to data
%USERPROFILE%\.AndroidStudio*\system to data

Then run android-studio-portable.exe and remove Android Studio™ from your computer.

Upgrade

For an upgrade, simply download and install the latest portable setup.

Configuring JVM options

You can control Android Studio JVM options in data\studio.vmoptions file. If this file does not exist, it will be created at first launch.
